Help -- Inoperative Aerosoft CRJ Pro

Featured Replies

After uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version of the Aerosoft CRJ Pro, the flight displays and yoke do not work on startup (see photo).  I was installing it again because I've read that was the way to eliminate an issue with the localizer needle not working correctly.  Has anybody encountered this and knows how to repair?  Here's what I've done so far to attempt to fix it:

  1. Posted at the Aerosoft CRJ forum
  2. Reinstalled the CRJ Pro (deactivating anti-virus while downloading and installing)
  3. Installed c++ 2017 redistributables (read issue could be a problem with a corrupt 2017 C++ Redistributables)
  4. Replaced P3D 4.5.14.34698 with P3D 4.4.16.27077 thinking that perhaps it would work with the older version
  5. Tried it with Windows 10 game mode both on and off since I read some people are having problems with game mode in some games

Any ideas or suggestions?

Dave

1. I couldn't find your post over at Aerosoft...a link perhaps?

2. The yoke deflection means some sort of corruption / incompatibility / etc. Reinstalling the ACFT should have worked if you have followed all prerequisites.

3. can't answer to that one since I never had any c++ corruption on Win 10 and P3D

4. Latest CRJ Pro needs P3D v4.5 if I'm not mistaking

5. Never had any issues with Game Mode (but I turn it off on my machine

Install P3Dv4.5 (I hope you know what you are doing). Install the CRJ again and update it from the ASUpdater (be sure to check also Experimental Updates in the ASUpdater). The latest CRJPro version is 2.0.0.3.

@GEKtheReaper, thank you.  Solved!  I had done everything except "be sure to check also Experimental Updates in the ASUpdater".  While I wonder why it wouldn't work with the downloaded version of 2.0.0.0, I've had enough fun for today trying to get this solved.  Again, thank you.
