May 12, 20206 yr Depends on what you mean by too much, but, arguably the best single addon to make the overall scenery look better for both FSX (and P3D) would be the Orbx FTX Global BASE Pack. I was amazed by the difference when I installed it in FSX and it provides a complete update of textures and autogen for the entire world in a single addon. It’s not cheap but it really is very good value when you consider what it achieves and, in my opinion, well worth it. Bill

May 12, 20206 yr I don’t routinely monitor frame rates unless there appears to be an issue but I haven’t noticed any significant problems with performance using FTXGlobal in FSX. Bill
