impossible in the plane to switch from NAV to GPS (resolved)

Featured Replies

I just bought a Reality XP GTN 750 for my Cessna 182 Skylane from A2A.

After installation it is not possible anymore to  switch in the Bendix/King KAP 140  from NAV to HDG

It is alsö now impossible in the plane to switch from NAV to GPS

How can I overcome this problem?

Hi,

Please read the RXP GTN User's Manual "Getting Started" chapter, to get started.

then read the RXP GTN User's Manual "Settings" chapter, to find out whether there is any setting you can change which would have any incidence on the NAV/GPS switch.

Try switching the GTN itself from GPS to VLOC and back.. and see if the NAV/GPS switch in the airplane follows.

How can i switch  the GTN from LNAV  to GPS? ( I'am unexperienced )

I could establish that during start up you can switch from HDG to NAV and in the plane from GPS to NAV

However in the map page it does not work anymore

Hey Bert,

By switching the CDI icon from VLOC to GPS I could solve this problem.

Thank you for your help
