June 23, 20205 yr Guys, went to install the above yesterday and it wont install. It states their is a virus etc. Any ideas, as it was downloaded from the FSPS store account. thanks Darren Darren Crosby
June 23, 20205 yr Happens frequently with new updates that have not been verified by various anti virus companies. Just approve it as a trusted program in your AV software settings. June 23, 20205 yr I posted about this in an earlier thread. Developer said it was a false positive. Believe what you will. After the fslabs saga it makes me a lot less likely to believe it’s a false positive but I’ve been running it with no issues. 5800x3d Asus 4090 ROG Strix OC 2TB SSD 32GB Ram
June 23, 20205 yr had this get flagged by windows defender too and i contacted simmarket. I installed it after their support confirmed it was a false positive (not that it really carries much weight) but I have been running it with no issues as well but I was hesitant because I had already had FFTF installed and I had to do a clean reinstall of it and out of nowhere this comes up so it made me think the installer was compromised.
