  1. I legitimately don’t care about this or the A220 anymore. Just say 2027 and beyond at this point
  2. Have you tried flaps 3? 320SimPilot said in a video he prefers flaps 3 IRL so I gave it a try. The result is the Plane is less floaty during landing and easier to grease it.
  3. How about not having ground air hooked up to the aircraft via jetbridge. I would have figured GSX would have this by now. But…we have passengers in the cabin! Yay 😐
  4. Not sure that would ever be changed as that would defeat the purpose of the application. It needs to know if you arrived late or on time... On one hand I cant say I love that but on the other hand comparing to APL I always thought it was silly you can just fly the legs whenever you want. The schedule generated would have random times with no flow into the next flight. I would fly a night one then fly a morning one right after it. Eventually I was just flying them all in real time. Also there was no designation of "days" on the schedule. In real life a schedule that touched 3 days would be designated as a 3 day trip. APL its just all over the place with 10 flights at random times so basically a glorified mission generator with an airline logo slapped on it. I was about to purchase this Fly The Line but I will hold off for a few reasons.... 1) It is being called short haul edition. So does that mean if I want long haul then Ill have to purchase again? Will it be a separate product? I didn't see anything in the FAQ that addresses that. its 40 USD im not willing to part with when I have questions. How can I fly for some of these airlines with long haul flights if the program wont assign them for a schedule? Im just stuck being a short haul pilot for UAL or BAW? What about airlines that aren't necessarily long haul but still have longer flights like jetBlue? I dont expect to get a realistic schedule in this program flying for them since they do alot of transcon flights within the US that touch 6 hours. 2) schedules that return to base everyday. This is completely unrealistic unless you work for Allegiant Air in the US. Starting off as a new First Officer having trips that get you home everyday is not something that would happen in real life. One of the most grueling things about aviation is being away for days at a time. There are some people who do bid schedules to be home everyday but they usually go very senior. Also a trip that finishes in base wouldn't be a multi day trip. That is just a 1 day trip in real life so to get a 5 day trip in this program for example and be at home everyday isnt realistic at all. I dont fly for Virtual Air Canada / VAC but their schedule pairing system is about as real as it can get for generating a real life pilot schedule over several days. Now there is disregard for FAR 117 duty and rest rules but thats fine because this is at home simulator entertainment. For their multi day trips there is fictional hotel information provided with fictional phone numbers and if I recall even report times for the next day on the schedule that is generated. This program does none of that. Id love to get a little more information. Most of the screenshots are concerning the background filler like decorating your house
  5. I think the majority will agree. The view count fell off drastically especially once they started showing systems with NO sounds.
  6. Back when MSFS was first announced I was really excited for the marketplace to help keep everything centralized. Unfortunately I am still using STKP or Volanta to remember what airports I have and a folder with all my activation codes etc. Even for BMWorld Seattle It took me a few moments to actually remember where I purchased it from so I could uninstall it properly. I knew it wasn't Inibuilds so First I opened Contrail then tried Orbx and found it but it really shouldn't be this way in 2025.
  7. I shelfed APL a long time ago. I just want to fly where I want. I am a "Senior" Captain so I should be able to build my own schedules or at least have more control. Hitting regenerate over and over and over again was a ridiculous concept. That is nothing like what real airline pilots do. Also I never understood why there was no logic in the schedules as in none of the scheduled flights ever went in sequence. I get that you want to allow pilots to fly at whatever time they want during the day or night without restrictions but airlines are generally a "scheduled" operation so why is one flight landing at 2025z and the next flight is departing at 1300z. Once you realize APL was just a glorified mission generator it was easy to move on from it as there is too many airports I have purchased and seldom fly to because of using APL. I'm not in the discord anymore but I remember the top voted suggestion at the time was allowing users to generate a long haul schedule with less than 10 flights. Yeah nothing ever came of that. So if you accepted 10 long hauls you are stuck with them if you don't have any money for skips. Also you cant apply for a new job for 7 whole days! Oh btw they don't answer on weekends 😑APL was way too restrictive in all the wrong ways for me. But hey, we have A Grand Tour! Idk who asked for that....
  8. I dont think default KATL is better than Imaginsim KATL and I know I wont think default KDFW is better either. Nobody wants to make these airports and they are the only ones who are trying so I refuse to criticize them
  9. I am on a 2080TI and event viewer would normally show out of memory after a crash. I had no issues with crashes at all on FS2020 for 4 years until I updated my drivers. After updating My simulator would constantly crash after about 2-3 flights, have long freezes and pauses during cruise even and cause my airplane to lose or gain about 2-3 thousand feet of altitude after a freeze. Initially it made me think it was an issue with the Fenix which is what I primary fly. I have reverted back to a driver version of 555.99 build from summer of 2024! and now my sim is once again very stable. Is anyone else experiencing an unstable sim recently? Maybe roll back your driver update.
  10. sounds like a cool project. also I like how you are willing to let users create their own seat map configuration. Its why I stopped using Passenger2. In my opinion Everyone should be allowed to create their own unique seat map.
  11. I like OnAir and actually use it alongside APL sometimes. I work for JetBlue in APL and have all my FBOs in OnAir at their destinations so whenever I have a flight I have on my schedule I'll just select a job from my FBO and fly it along aside APL. I don't always use APL but I do always use OnAir. The subscription is worth it to me since they push a lot of updates to improve it and I like the management aspect while I'm in cruise on my flights.
  12. APL's own users have asked for this several times but for some reason the dev and his train driver moderators think pilots in real life have zero control over their schedule. I don't think anyone is asking for a seniority based system but once you get to a certain rank you should just be able to create your own schedule or at least preference certain airports. Instead we got A Random flight generator (ARFG) and A grand tour (AGT) which nobody asked for.
  13. this is great. I never uninstalled 2020 and am still having a blast with it. I also have never purchased Say Intentions or BATC so I feel if I did one of those I could easily get another year out of 2020 before getting itchy again for something new in FS2024. Im glad I held out for now because I was really looking forward to the A350. Also isnt their A220 with Synaptic which will probably never come only being developed for FS2020? 🤭
  14. Ive had crashes recently as well an im pretty sure it was me updating a NVIDIA graphics driver. I think I need to go figure what one I had before and roll back. The last time I dealt with crashes it was the same thing. Its almost not even worth updating anymore unless you want to be frustrated
  15. "Includes A321 Wingtip Fence and Sharklet Variants, with CFM and IAE Engines" ::Checks Hanger:: hmmm I think I already have this.
  16. I think if there was a vote to get rid of the ADC message entirely it would be a landslide YES. However, ultimately you really can just ignore it but since alot of pilots are OCD we cant. The message has to be acknowledged to keep that clean screen!
  17. Yeah we are because you clearly cant seem to read more than 3 sentences unless I say something that triggers you. Even the reply above made a great point asking what dev has mentioned their stuff will work in FS2024 on day one? OR has Fenix said they are working on a native FS2024 A320 series right now yet you are trying to be critical on a new developer for why they themselves aren't focusing only on FS2024 only for their first aircraft. Have a good one as well
  18. First off We are talking about ONE product here. Not Product(S). And that product for all intents and purposes is a one time cost whether you buy it when it releases for FS2020 or when its made compatible for FS2024. You are acting like we are going from P3D to MSFS. This new sim is more similar to FS2004 to P3Dv1 in the idea that this addon will all be backwards compatible. The dev has said that the 757 should in theory work in FS2024 and regardless it will be upgraded anyway for FREE to get the native features of FS2024. Im not sure how many times I need to say it but it will be FREE. Are you glossing over that because you keep trying to defend you wont buy products for FS2020 when nobody is saying you need to. Example, If the Fenix works on day one November 19th I would recommend anyone who doesn't have it to buy it even though that is clearly a FS2020 product but they have told us they will make it a free update to get it to work pending its not a ton of extra development work. Also remember Not everyone will upgrade on the 19th. I will at some point. Its nice to know that if for some reason I am still on FS2020 next summer I can buy with confidence the best and only 757 available and know I wont have to pay again to get a compatible native FS2024 757 either.
  19. Yes it is....now. Back then That wasn't something you could have banked on back in 2020 and even if you were then it would fall into what some people here are alluding to here and that is a dev not understanding the market. The concorde wont be free either for anyone who had it for P3D.
  20. I'm specifically talking about this imaginary window some are talking of in here. Please come up with something better than "my train is leaving the station energy" otherwise yes it comes off quite ridiculous especially when they said they would bring the 757 to the new sim anyway. Nothing personal here. I tagged no one directly and you only need to head over the the Aerosoft thread to see the point I was making about releasing unfinished payware. Seems devs are dammed if you do and dammed if you dont here on avsim. With that being said you can simmer down yourself pal. Okay Im not talking about them missing their target release date and upsetting people for overextending themselves. This also happens to literally every dev at some point. Dates are mentioned and missed. That's flightsim development for ya but I am not trying to debate how you should feel about that. What Im talking about this weird energy that they have completely missed the boat just because FS2024 is releasing next month. Alright cool you are deleting FS2020 and upgrading. How is this the same as FSLabs going full steam ahead with the Concorde on P3D? One is going to be upgraded to be backwards compatible and actually might work in FS2024 but without native features and the other is stuck in a dying sim. Not even close to the same situation. My guy. They said the 757 is going to be upgraded for FS2024 for FREE. If it wasn't going to be free then I would 100% agree that they are making a bad decision. If there was a way to immediately start making it compatible for FS2024 right now I'm sure they would do it. You dont see FBW, Fenix or PMDG coming out with announcements regarding their aircraft being guaranteed to work with no issues because there isnt enough information to know! When you take into the fact nobody else is working on the 757 you can make a decision like this. Imagine if Aerosoft didn't release their A330 and came out with this exact same statement that they are focusing on releasing for FS2020, Then I would completely understand your logic. Anyone who was going to buy it for FS2020 will buy it for 2024 when its ready so yeah I hard disagree with you.
  21. They said they will make the 757 compatible for 2024 for FREE so that's why I brought up 2024. Because of that the 757 will very much be relevant. As will the A380X. Look, this not like Aerosoft where they knew the new sim came with an A330 so they effectively had a window to sell theirs before it became obsolete. Also the FSlabs Concorde is a terrible example. if you stayed on P3D you knew for a fact it wasn't coming to MSFS. The 757 IS though. Evidently you think everyone is immediately migrating to the new sim and if that's the case I guess you will just buy the 757 when it's made compatible then? No window being missed in my opinion. also some of you are kinda ridiculous. If they rushed it and released it right now in an early access unfinished state they would get destroyed here on avsim and called a cash grab. Buuut you are actually okay with that because you will have a new toy to hold you over until November 19th where you will be moving on to FS2024 anyway? Ridiculous
  22. Too late for what? Who else is making a 757 for 2020 or 2024? Please let me know. Also what about the FBW A380. If FBW doesn't release before FS2024 releases is it then too late? Im not buying that.
  23. Its amazing that some wonder why their sim is a crashy disaster but look no futher than products like REX. I promise you dont need it to enjoy MSFS. Your wallet, simulator and patience will thank you. However I get it the logic You spent the money so you want to use it otherwise the money is lost. I havent purchased a single thing since upgrading from P3D in 2020 and with threads like this I dont plan to anytime soon.
  24. Please let us know how it is. As someone who also flies though KSEA regularly irl as well I completely agree BMWorld version doesn't actually feel like Seattle International Airport to me.
  25. The Feel There version has the iconic red gate numbers on the entire airport so thats a plus. The BMWorld KSEA always gives me a 30+ microstutter when approaching the airport. One time it was so long it completely upset my aircraft and caused an overstress so their version at least on my system isnt optimized very well. On the flip side people have said their KPHX is rough on fps but its butter smooth for me. Looks like BMWorld put a little more effort on their interiors of the terminals if you care about that. Cant say I would recommend either version. Taxi2Gate for P3Dv4 was better than both of these
