July 28, 2025Jul 28 Any ideas on why it's seemingly impossible to get external power from the jet bridge? Every developer provides a silly little power cart rattling away on the tarmac next to the jet, instead of what 95% of airports use, which is a power cable that runs from the jetbridge. Not a huge issue in the big scheme of things but annoying, nonetheless.
July 28, 2025Jul 28 Because you'd need the actual position of the cable end, jetway side, and I'm not sure aircraft developers can read this information. That's something I guess the good old SODE would have taken care of. July 28, 2025Jul 28 How about not having ground air hooked up to the aircraft via jetbridge. I would have figured GSX would have this by now. But…we have passengers in the cabin! Yay 😐
July 29, 2025Jul 29 I think PMDG has a underground cable power option...so at least that can be done.
