I don't want people stressing and Saturday will have a LOT of info.. BUT... iniBuilds has re-evaluted its decision and will be releasing the iniBuilds A350 Airliner for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 in one purchase. We will invest in two development cycles given people want more choice, and note the issues present in 2024 currently.

this is a very welcome decision.  I honestly thought it was a no brainer I'd be pivoting to 2024 at this point.  But now it's a big question despite already owning it.

I imagine the bug in the a306 where you need to force quit the sim is still there with the a350. That is not a good user experience, but a LOT of folks not really happy with 2024 right now.

Another prove that 2024 is in its alpha/beta stage. It’s not ready for developer planes because the corse sim is broken and massive stuttering after last patch. I have RTX 4090 I9 14900k

Yes it is. This post doesn't say anything to the contrary.

Well ini is a contractor for MS so.....

I think we all expected 2024 to have a smoother launch.  While there are some excellent new features, there are a HOST of bugs.  Some bugs were from early 2020 days.. it's almost like they uploaded an old build of 2020 for 2024 haha.

We're about a month in and it's still almost impossible to paint default aircraft, there are hardly any community mods, there are numerous bugs, even after the big patch 3... so a lot of people went back to 2020.

Heck I just made a post about my cpu RAM going to 46GB lol - that's insanity.  They need to optimize it better for use with community addons.

And? They're not making the A350 for Microsoft. Microsoft has no say in where ini release their products.

That bug happens with all of ini aircraft and the ATR. It's an issue with the sim, something to do with WASM

Excellent news - When it was first announced it was going to be 2024 I wasn't too bothered but I think like most people we thought we may have had a smoother launch. So them releasing it for both 2020 and 2024 seems like the right choice now.

As I am seeing bugs that were in the 2020 Alpha, I have no doubt this happened with some of the code....

It's not 'almost impossible' anymore. It takes a bit extra work, but nowhere near impossible.

I'm saying I firmly believe they had a lot of pressure from MS to move forward with 2024 only.  With the rough release month the end user has spoken... users are leaving 2024.  Recent spikes are the previous two patch releases.

I've supported/defended 2024 from the get go but the amount of bugs, I'm meaning BASIC effing bugs, is atrocious.  At this point, the negatives out-weigh the positives.  We need a SOLID patch 4 or SU1 or whatever to get this thing back on track.

I wonder if their decision means they also don't see a fix from ASOBO for 24 anywhere close on the horizon.  That would not be good.

True,

But the folks who don't have the a306, if they get the a350 there are gonna be a lot of support tickets 🙂
