June 24, 20205 yr I wonder if we are going to see road traffic going over bridges , i havent really seen much road traffic.I know in other sims they dont and looks unrealistic and hope MSFS can fix this problem.
June 27, 20205 yr I imagine proper road traffic will be added in the next Alpha or so since I'd bet it'll bring down performance a lot and they don't want to spend time optimizing for it before they do that for the core sim content like aircraft, airports, weather, air traffic, etc. In other words, it's low on the priority totem pole and all things considered it's probably relatively straight forward compared to the other things AS is building for this sim. If I had to bet I'd say road/water traffic will be adjustable like FSX, but I can't speak to the bridges question. Having optimized road traffic would be awesome though. June 27, 20205 yr There is already road traffic, you can see it in the videos and you see it in the sim. I don't know how it interacts with bridges. Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
June 28, 20205 yr It would be neat if the traffic density was based on Bing traffic data one of the things I like doing when flying IRL is seeing how much traffic I'm going to be stuck in on the way home...

In the morning it's heavier going into the city than out, and in the evening it's heavier coming out of the city. It looks mostly correct. Have you noticed this? Hook Larry Hookins Oh! June 28, 20205 yr Author yeagh that would be cool to see more density in cities during rush hour and such. The footage ive seen didnt really show to much traffic so i hope its a slider or something.
