Hi there,great find!I have only spent an hour or so checking but it's a definite improvement. There are a couple of issues, like repetitive textures (tiling) in some areas and visible grid lines where snow meets vegetation (in FS snow and ice always needs to be surrounded by rock to prevent this) but the fact that they call it Version 1 is promising ;-)Also, I applaud the initiative to include adjsuted season and region files. Yes, it definitely looks better.But as we strive for perfection I am going to make a texture set just for the Netherlands that will work icw Cloud9 LC for Europe.

I bought this one this morning. It really is an improvement. I of course tested it in my home area ( NW from EFHK) by flying from efhk to the area near efnu. The def lc in these areas was quite poor, as someone already wrote, the def lc is one of the poorest things in the new fsx. This time, with the new lc, the things had changed for good, but almost too radically: Areas which irl are only industrial areas or suburbs with low (2-3 etages) buildings or one-family-houses are like the inner city of Paris... Even if I sometimes was dreaming of sth like this, it is now unrealistic to the opposite direction compared to the def lc. But let's on the other hand consider that in the def lc very densely populated (in the Finnish scale) places were full of forest with no sign of buildings.Hope the authors will be able to adjust a little bit more..Petteri PulkkinenVihti, Finland

I bought it and found it very good.There is one problem though, even small villages seem to have been given the same texture class as big cities. So you get tiny villages made up of large buildings, rather the roads of small houses. At least that's what I've seen in Europe so far.

I thinks that will improve since is the first version,...also check on the forum and report which area for your knowledge have something wrong or bug,...customer feedback its important, since also in the past they had improoved their add-onAndy

Hi Marc, I really don't know to be sure just post on www.cloud9.com forum, but I prefer install scenery and add-on for FSX and not adapted to it.Andy
