July 7, 20205 yr AP was tracking GPS via my flight plan route, and twice ATC vectored me.. Typically in the real world you would be vectored for traffic, weather, etc I don’t recall if this was a known bug?? Thanks!!
July 7, 20205 yr If you are flying an IFR plan, the ATC in FSX does not use the exact route that is displayed in the GPS, but will usually issue turn instructions at some point before you reach the GPS waypoint. The ATC in FSX will also vector you into long approaches for landing when using an IFR flight plan, sometimes vectoring you into a nearby mountain. It is a very imperfect system.
