July 18, 20205 yr I might be setting a trend here, but I blame AVSIM member olderndirt for posting up his Vampire fly through. This is deliberate.. July 18, 20205 yr Author Honestly, the BD-5 is such a fun little thing, so much so that I've not bothered taking the prop version out of the hangar yet! July 18, 20205 yr Mark: Looks like you surely are giving James Bond...a run for his money....🙂...!! It appears, unless I'm mistaken, you've just made it (or about to do so), inverted, through, between the towers...a testament to your pilotage skills...indeed...!
July 18, 20205 yr Author Thank you! I made it through the towers inverted - I knew I should have taken another screenshot - I hoped the external shot would infer I had passed through the towers - the BD-5 is quite tiny. It is rather stable, but fast in roll and relatively easy to maintain inverted flight - not sure how long the real one can remain inverted for.. however I went inverted quite some distance before the bridge to give myself some time. Anyway - if you can line up to land on a runway, you can fly between the towers, really, especially with a small plane. Try it - go on.. You know you want to!
