After reading your post, I flew the AS Twin Otter (West Coast Air Floats) into and out of Ganges Harbour with the Orbx scenery (P3D v5) without any performance issues on my system.

My version is from flightsimstore.com.. And maybe outdated so I have contacted Aerosoft for the latest version...
