Any New Camera View Features?

Featured Replies

So one of my oldest pet peeves within the msfs series had to do with its built in camera features, or lack thereof for features that i felt were too clumsy or nonexistant and therefore we needed addons for replays, and custom saved cockpit views.

One nice featrure of xplane is just how easy and fast it is to set up some preset cam views for yourself that can be bound the numbers on your keyboard. You can easily use aarows to move yourself anywhere in cockpit or cabin then hit a control key plus number to save that view...didnt make any different if it was internal or external...it would save and you could then just type that number and be taken to your preset view...this was great for quickly making custom views for each aircraft.

Also, xpane has some nice preset airport and runway views along with the free view using your mouse plus a really easy to use replay feature that makes things quick and simple to play and review your landings from almost any view you can think of.

So im very excited to learn if MS has taken note of the xp camera system, and if theyve implemented something similarly easy to use for this...does anyone know?

I don't know the answer but I hope MFS has a robust camera system as well, I wish some of the official videos would have shown this.  Both FSX and P3D were always terribly lacking in this regard.

Yes, it's nice to sit near the threshold and watch reply of landing.
