Thrust Master Rudder Pedal assignment

Featured Replies

Hello, I just purchased a TM rudder pedal and I went to their website and installed the most current driver. For some reason P3Dv4.5 has it listed in the controls drop down but I can’t actually calibrate the pedals to work properly. In the sim whenever I move the pedals either forward or back or press the toe brakes, it actually moves all of the controls but the rudders. I can still move my MSFFB2 Joystick normally as well but the pedals seem to have a life on their own. How can I properly assign them to just move the aircrafts rudder? Thanks for the assistance!

The pedals may be listed in the drop down, but are you sure that you have the pedals selected when assigning the axes to them?  Go to left rudder for example. If P3D is anything like FSX:SE then there should be a button to press which lets you assign a control input - push forward on the left pedal and that axis should then be assigned to rudder input (you may have to do the same for right pedal too).

Hope this helps. Good luck.

You have to go into the controls dialog, select the rudder pedals, and unassign any axes that are already assigned by default.  Then you should be able to specifically reassign to toe brakes and yaw.

Okay I’ll try your suggestions and see what I come up with, thanks!
