Hi,

I´ve got a Wheels stand pro v2 with my logitech yoke and pedals, and I´m thinking about upgrading to the honeycomb yoke. I´d love to know if someone managed to make the yoke work with the wheel stand pro or to see if there´s a modded solution for it. I don´t have a table close to me to attach the honeycomb there so the stand is the only way I have for now.

Cheers

Carlos

The yoke platform of the Wheelstand Pro is about 2-3 cm too narrow for the Honeycomb's mounting clamps. Also, the clamps won't grip the platform, since the gap when they'e fully screwed in is about 0.5 cm bigger than the thickness of the platform. So It seems to me that the only way to mount the yoke would be to attach a wider and thicker board or metal plate on top of the platform.

Thanks. I contacted  the makers of the Wheel stand pro yesterday and they told me they´re working in a solution, and to get in touch with them again in a couple of days. So the solution maybe pretty close.

Cheers

Thanks, that's sounds hopeful. Please let us know what solution they come up with.

I had a problem with the clamps on a CH Pro Yoke not closing far enough to grip the underside of my sim desk's keyboard support. So I used a 1" wide x 1/4" thick piece of wood under the keyboard support to allow the clamps to grip tightly,

That's the solution I was thinking of using for the Honeycomb yoke and the Wheelstand Pro, but I'd need a board that extends to the right, since I've also pre-ordered the Honeycomb throttle quadrant, and I don't know yet how far the board would have to extend. So it would be nice if the Wheelstand makers could offer a neater option without requiring the purchase of a whole new stand.

Buy a piece several feet long and cut to fit. Easy work!

I just e-mailed them the other day and they say they're still working on it. So much for being "pretty close" back in August. hehe
