I recently had to take apart and then reassemble my flight sim.  I cannot get some of the GF modules to stay programed to the same commands for a switch or knob. They work and then the next time I use them in P3dv4.5 all the assignments are gone.  Any help to assist the modules to remember their assignments would be appreciated. I use the GF proprietary software--no Pollypot.

Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.

Not probably what you want to hear but Spad.Next supports the Go Flight panels and devices and really is fantastic for creating Profiles with different bindings for all hardware panels...

VP... I have had to do the same thing now twice since I set up my 10 GoFlight modules. First, make sure to go into device manager and turn off power management on all your USB entries. Time consuming, you may have 50 or so listed. Must be done. Next. Keep at it. I have found that after setting things up and attempting to get them operational I have had to reboot, restart and switch around usb ports a dozen to 2 dozen times to get that majic combination that works for all the USB powered hubs and all my gear. I can't figure it out. I have fired up the same combination of plugs and ports for five times with INOP after INOP and then on the sixth go around the system regognizes the GoFlight module in question. Of course you know to try to spread the EFIS, MCP and 66's across as many powered hubs as you can or if you can plug them right into the MB USB2.0 ports. Don't hesitate to plug a 66 or an MCP into a USB 3.0 port.

I believe there is a bit of "FM" going on here. The "M" stands for majic, I'll leave it to your imagination as to the "F"

Be patient and persistent. If they worked beofre and there are no significant changes to hardware they should come back up with time, effort, a bit of cussing and persistence.

Cheers,

Bob
