Does FS202 support ultra wide screen monitors such as the Asus X35 or equivalent?

Welcome to the AVSIM forums!  I suspect a typo and you mean FS2020 or MSFS.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

Welcome, It should work fine as it's just a larger resolution meaning your view will be affected as the FOV might be larger but that's a benefit. The thing to consider is how much performance is it going to cost as higher resolution means your graphics card will have to work harder. I own a 49" SMART TV for a monitor, on P3Dv5 and Xplane with me 1080TI I get about 30 FPS so I am curious what will happen tonight.

Hope it helps.

Thanks - so FOV just extends sideways without distorting object proportions?
