Download time for Pre Purchase

Featured Replies

Did any one here, who now has the simulator, do pre purchase?

I am curious to know if you had to get huge download, or were you able to just click the exe and start the sim?

Mine says its installed but not yet released.

Thanks.

Robin

Mine had a 90gb update after downloading that 150gb pre release, and the update is so sloowww for me

You only have some setup files you will have to wait for your real download tomorrow 4:00am or 4:00pm not sure I am in est also - that should be a slide show anyway just launch your flight simulator exe from windows start programs that will launch installer I would assume when its available

When I do what I state above it says its not available yet - check store for release date

At the pre-purchase stage it only lets you download a little over 1GB. Then when your time zone allows and you click on MSFS it will download the rest of the simulator. Depending on what package you purchased it will be in excess of 90GB.

If downloading upfront files is an issue hows that going to work out when downloading all the cache files off web that runs in the game

Reinstalls should be interesting also - hmmm
