August 27, 20205 yr I can confirm that the trick works perfectly. The whole VC and airplane completely disappeared and I can still control the view by TrackIR. It feels great flying with such a full view of the scenery. Very immersive. 9950X3D / 64GB / RTX5090 / Pimax Crystal Light / Win11
August 27, 20205 yr There's a much easier, less invasive way to do it. You create a custom view that's outside the cockpit area. All your instruments and models remain intact. A bonus is that you can do a walkaround your plane, and once beyond the confines of the cockpit, you can create several external "custom" views.
