It works for me. I get a magenta pointer in Navigraph at my correct location.

SimConnect wasn't broken, but there were some performance issues with various data requests.   Using it, for one thing, to retrieve information on AI aircraft would cause intermittent freezes.    You can still use, eg, Little Navmap if you turn "Fetch AI aircraft" off.
