August 20, 20205 yr I’d be curious if they tried to have AI detect and depict radio towers etc. Obviously it would be difficult given their minimal horizontal profile but I never cease to amazed what the AI can figure out sometimes... Towers are tougher I think because I bet the AI reads them as solid buildings a lot of the time from the top-down view. Antenna towers should probably be based on a hazards database rather than aerial imagery. They are often all but invisible in top-down aerial or satellite images. Often you can see the shadows they cast, but not the actual tower, (or if visible, they will appear distorted).
