Actually is a Dell XPS series, and final cost was about $3800.00 with 3 years of on-site service. Also got a Logitech G5 Gaming mouse and a Saitek (red backlighting) Eclipse keyboard. Dell 24" LCD widescreen monitor.:-eek

>waaaaaah>>>whatever, enjoy the hatin>>>sadodog if you dont come up with some more information soon even i'm not going to believe you're pictures. I'd rather it was different but the reality is you're going to look such a xxxxxx. Please

FSX fly's very well in New York. Just adjust your settings.New York screen at 1792x1344 Clear weather I only have 1gb memory so can't get clouds untill I get 2gb memory. Clouds have almost no impact on FPS unless its snowing or raining in FSX.Its 17 fps with autogen maxed out at 6000 cells each. In the CRJ-700. I have posted the 3 tweaks I use no texture resizing for me.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/160004.jpg

>Ahhh, I see what you're talking about, the 'Catpure>Screenshot' function('C' on your keyboard). I've never used>that function of IrfanView and I will give it a try. However,>I have to wonder if it allows you to take multiple screenshots>in succesion and saves all of them! FSScreen takes multiplesIt does, else I wouldn't have made the suggestions. ;)Regards,http://www.bremmekamp.com/img/misc/avsim.jpg

That's 0.6 fps if you can't see well with water high 2.x, lol! It ran badly from that to a high 5-6 fps:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v240/Lent1/fsxnewyork1.jpg6.4 fps thereabouts with water mid1.xhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v240/Len...xnewyork21x.jpgGround textures are very poor and blurred because not enough memory and cpu power. Scenery complexity dense and autogen is dense. No clouds. All traffic on default (15% or less). Mesh comp., resolution, texture resolution on full right.P4 3.6 GHz HT, 1 gig ddr ram ATI X800XT 256 mb PCIe card

odog where are you??? or were you a figment of your own imagination. Lots of people are, especially on here. Its funny even forcing sm1 at NYC didnt do much for me, worked quite well else where, i can only assume its the magical texture shrinking batch file that does some of the trick, that and a vivid imagination.Done the old memstatus thing as well graohics card peaks at 42% (317 out of 512 on board, for some reason mstat thinks i've got 749)Main memory peaks at 86% crikey 1.8 gig put of 2 point something, holey baloney mind you i am running firefox as well that must be using 30 whole meg.So apart from a new cpu which i dont want to get because it would mean new motherboard and memory and without overclocking wouldnt have much effect, i'm managing to get absolutely nowhere. Dont think i'll put the sliders back cos NYC has not been flattened yet so it wouldnt be as real as it gets. One thing i've noticed is that you can take great looking screen shots with the fps counter of and the settings maxed out.The question is if you could upgrade what would be worth getting and in my experience nothing particularly stands out.AND I DONT BELIEVE THE HIGH FPS CLAIMERS THEY ARE ALL LIVING IN A FANTASY WORLD OF THEIR OWN IMAGINATION

I forgot to mention AustIntel 2Duo Processor E6700 (2.66GHZ, 1066FSB) with 4MB Cache;$8554GB DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz;4 x $1551GB NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2 Dual-GPU Graphics Card; $948500GB Serial ATA II Hard Drive (7200 RPM)$347965 MB are about $300+22 in LCD about $6-900That give you some idea - even Ink Carts are expensive $65 & $58 for the 2 my Epson takesEven a basic case with a cruddy 300W power supply costs $100

you should probably just let it go partner... If you think i'm going out of my way to help some clown who calls me a liar, you are seriously diluted. You represent everything that is wrong with this community. Just because you lack the hardware and the understanding to run this sim, you have to result to slinging poo. I get it, you dont... so is life.maybe someday you'll grow up and maybe you'll 'get it' but until then...bye byeps. I could care less if you believe it or not, or if you think the screenshots need more.. whatever. You said "Come on surely no one can get 25fps with it remotely looking like that"I proved you wrong, and that's that.pss. Please stop spamming the board with your childish antics. Obviously no one else cares.back to my fantasy worldgood day
