I'm only trying to help anyone who wants to get a refund, pleases don't shoot the messenger.

However, I got a full refund within a few hours of requesting one. For anyone feeling like minded, follow this link.

How easy is it to get a refund after 3 weeks?

Steam seem to have abandoned their earlier leniency towards extending the refund policy. When I was getting frustrated and seeing red mist during my re-download nightmare last week, I tried and was just knocked back with the standard declined message. (Over 2 hours in game and/or owned for more than two weeks).

So I guess once you've bought it you are stuck with it, unless you refund before trying to install.
