Airports, runways and navigation beacons information

Can I find airports, runways and navigation beacons information in flight? In previous MSFS versions this info was displayed on the map.

Yes, that's a bit of an oversight here, as you can't access the world map during flight, and the VFR map doesn't show frequencies.

In the Garmin-equipped planes, you can find frequencies with the waypoint info function. Apart from that, external sites like Skyvector are probably the easiest way to find them.

Gotta do what you do in real life. Note it down when on the map at the pre flight planning stage.

In reality, relying on being able to get that stuff in the air from avionics which might conceivably fail, instead of having it scrawled on your kneeboard, would be a seriously bad bit of airmanship.

Thank you for your answers, gentlemen.

I took the plunge and bought a subscription to Navigraph and I must say it's been fantastic!

I can overlay my aircraft on my android tablet, display approach plates, get frequencies and I'm sure I'm only scratching the surface.

They've mentioned VFR maps are coming or they are working on them which will match more closely with my play/sim style.

All I want now is for Asobo to patch the very underpowered Bonanza and for the laptop ugrade fairies to visit and I'm laughing! 🙂
