August 23, 20205 yr I've had this happen twice in the past week or so in the NGXu which I've had for several months now. After going thru the...20min process to set up a flight, start it using GSX II, start engines after pushback is completed, only to hit the throttle to start taxiing and no go! Engines purring, but it's like a car w/ a totally blown clutch! What possible is the cause for this? It doesn't normally happen, but it did twice now recently and I have no idea what's up. A reboot and another 20min of repeating the flight setup and voila, works as it should again. Any ideas where to look? And yes, the parking brake is off as are wheel chocks removed! August 24, 20205 yr Not a whole lot of information here to comment but a couple of thoughts: It sounds like your engines are motoring and not really running on ignition. Can you confirm that the engines are running normally with proper fuel flow etc. Do the engines SPOOL up when you advance the throttle but the aircraft feels like the brakes are set?? Also there is some issue I have found after landing if the Spoilers are not retracted and autobrake reset that looks like this. You said the parking brake is off, but can you confirm that the brakes are not engaged in some other way ?? That's about all I can think of with the info you sent.. Noel, You mentioned this happens after pushback...I was just wondering if there is an issue with your nose wheel axis...is it possible it is turned to either extreme (left or right)? Rob

Yes, running normally w/ proper fuel flow Yes, spool up when throttle advanced. No shaking or anything to indicate the plane is being restrained. This was not after landing. My default start up configuration initializes the spoilers as retracted. How would the brakes be engaged in some other way? Rob That is a thought, but not one w/ a good explanation. I use the Cessna Trim Wheel as my tiller control, and it is always centered before starting. Of note, I can simply reboot and restart and all is well. And typically, I almost always start flights after a fresh boot. November 14, 20205 yr Go into the Ground Maintenance menu and click on "cool brakes", "replace brakes", and "replace tires". One of them should fix that. Clutch was a reasonable guess, though.
