Is FlightAware supposed to be active?

I'm afraid it's clearly not working properly, or as you would expect.

Minimal traffic at best

You might see the odd approach and landing, but every single one I've seen has disappeared halfway down the runway, and on one occasion the same flight reappeared on approach again.

Imo it's not fully implemented, I just wish they would acknowledge that.

Same here, precisely the same behavior.

Just to expand on this thread further following my comments of sparse traffic yesterday. I loaded up at Heathrow around 5 minutes ago and have had 3 planes land - BA373 | BA573 | BA1441 - and all aren't that far behind the real data. Other times i've seen traffic (albeit sparse) up to 45 minutes behind real time.

I can only presume this is because the servers aren't under as much load currently due to much of the USofA not being awake yet? 😀
