On a hunch I left it on preset, but in the preset at the top is a Live "preset". After clicking that (live time was already active) and running a flight, leaving, and coming back in, it's on the Live tile now instead of Preset. So yeah, if it's stuck on Preset, go into the settings for the presets and choose live time and live weather both and it should fix it I think. That's it, I remember now!
