September 1, 20205 yr You do not need a $1.500 computer to enjoy the game, nor a fast connection. Check out this thread for a few quick results of people trying out the game with systems that are a decade old and you might be surprised. For $500 you can get a far superior system nowadays, and maybe the Xbox Series X if you are willing to wait. You can fly offline (of course you need a connection to download, update and start up the game but I presume you already have one since you're posting in here), but you also have the option to manually cache the online scenery if your connection is not fast enough to do so on the fly. Do not give up so easily.
