Anyone with Smoothtrack experience?

Featured Replies

I just purchased the Smoothtrack app and downloaded the opentrack from github. I'm having some problems getting it to work (among other things, the camera is just black, it never records). I am on the latest ios (13.something.something) on my iphone8+. Anyone else here using it and getting it to work?

I was thinking about trying it myself and was looking for some kind of review myself.

Hi

been using it for a few weeks with no issues. Followed the set up on the smoothtrack web site and it worked straight off the bat. (There’s a YouTube video on setting it up by the author also ) Spent a bit of time setting up the curves and now use it on every flight.

Its running on a old iPhone SE that was on iOS 13 now on iOS 14.

Hopefully you can sort out your issues because I’m v impressed by it.

cheers

Steve

Same here it just worked out the box for me, you do need make sure your phone is connected to same network as open track.  For me this app is best £10 I spent on flight sim full stop.  It’s so much easier to do circuits and to look over and around the cockpit for landings and manoeuvres.

Sure there is a reddit for this so if you having problems go check that out, sorry I don’t have the link.
