September 3, 20205 yr So holding win+g opens xbox gamebar. It has several nifty features it seems that are somewhat similar to the chat and voice functions of steam. However, none of my friends that I have in MSF are listed in the xbox friends list. Why are they different? Andreas Stangenes http://www.youtube.com/user/krsans78 Add me on gamertag: Bullhorns78
September 3, 20205 yr Author Anyone know anything about this? It seems like a system I could get onboard with, to make it easy to communicate and coordinate without using discord (barrier to entry), but if I need to handle a separate friendslist for it that is not connected to msf, then that is probably more a hassle than many are gonna put up with. Strange that it doesnt do this automatically, since it asks to be linked to every word not allowed social platform i know of... September 3, 20205 yr On one of the menu screens (maybe profile) it has a button along the top that will allow you to add friends, much like other games. Haven't tried it, but I imagine that's how you add and get your xbox friends to show up. James
September 3, 20205 yr Author But cant it find my msf friends directly, or do I have to add them first the MSF, and then one more time for xbox game bar? Andreas Stangenes http://www.youtube.com/user/krsans78 Add me on gamertag: Bullhorns78
September 3, 20205 yr Record in background while I'm playing a game. Does that work as a flight recorder? Is there a hot key to turn it on and off?

Windows logo key + G: Open Xbox Game Bar Windows logo key + Alt + G: Record the last 30 seconds (you can change the amount of time recorded in Xbox Game Bar > Settings ) Windows logo key + Alt + R: Start/stop recording Windows logo key + Alt + PrtScn: Take a screenshot of your game You can also change those hotkey settings by opening Game Bar> Settings>Shortcuts, as well as changing capture quality.
