September 3, 20205 yr Hello everyone, Does anyone know how to set up the saitek trim wheel on MSFS? I have tried everything but it seems like it is not working. I was just wondering if anyone here uses it on MSFS. Thank you. regards

September 4, 20205 yr You'll probably want to give it a few good spins to make sure Windows recognizes it before starting the sim. Back when I actually used it (haven't in several years); after re-booting, mine always required some movement on the axis to be auto-detected.

Sounds like the age old Saitek issue with Windows Advanced Power Management. You were probably waking it up from a power-save state. September 4, 20205 yr Author Thanks for the reply. Yea I notice that from the good old P3D days. MSFS recognizes it but when I load up the plane the trim doesn’t move inside the airplane. 🤷🏻♂️
