3 hrs this morning trying to fly 2 flights

First flight KRDU to KILN in the Bonanza. 1 hour into flight after setting up ILS Frequency and Coarse Selection chgd to heading mode and tried to activate Nav1 approach and boom Crash to desktop

Second flight Ktex to Kapa KA350  Plane started icing up. Tried everything to deice windshield Notice Power was set on Ground chgd to center, voltage but no amps to plane No deicing!

I give up. There are so many bugs and ctds. Im not sure if they will every get this software fixed.

Give up?  Why?  Just two weeks in and with fixes coming quicker than any other flightsim I have known, when I have had P3D and X-plane for YEARS, and they are still flaky and CTD occasionally.  But you don't want to give it a chance after 2-weeks?

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I sometimes have "I'm just going to put this on the shelf for now" moments. I've been touring places I used to live, and I hit frustrating bugs in the Bing Maps that just lead to letdowns. For example, my old house sits on the opposite side of the street of photogrammetry detail. And not only is my old house autogen, but the satellite imagery is low quality, yet literally just a few hundred feet away there's a magic line where the scenery explodes into detail. At least I can fly over a favorite restaurant and the mall I used to hang out at.

And then there's my old place of work - for some unknown reason (Microsoft hates me because I love Linux more), it's the one building in an industrial park that is just ground texture - no actual building there! WHY???

And then there is the flying cars, autogen trees that seem totally broken in where I've been flying lately, flooded roads, buildings sitting in the middle of highways, and other scenery-specific anomalies that just spoil this adventure I've set out on. If there truly is a world update coming, part of me just wants to wait for that. But I'm so taken in when MSFS does work, that it's hard to just walk away, even for a couple of weeks.

Exactly!  👍  We know there are things to sort out, and it is maybe not the best technical sim yet, but there are an awful lot of people having fun out there - including me.

When I say I give up  I mean I give up for now. I think I just need to go back to DCS for a while.
