Hello. I am casting about for assistance uninstalling a program called Simconnect. I intend using it specifically for Flight Simulator Economy which some of you may be familiar with. My problem tho is not with FSE but with Win10/64 Home and uninstalling a game/program already resident on my SSD. I will add the error I receive below. This error seems to say the uninstall can't be done because Simconnect is not there. However it was working fine until a recent update. After I allowed the update to occur my problem started. I wish to uninstall and then (hopefully) reinstall it cleanly so that it will function because nothing I do with it now will make it operate. The error code:

COMPONENT STORE TRANSACTION DETAILS

No transaction information is available.

P.S. There are a large number of FSE players and they all use Simconnect and its working fine for them.

1. How did you attempt to uninstall SimConnect? Its own uninstall software (been a long time since I've used it, so I don't remember if it has any) or from Programs and Features?

2. Run a search of your SSD for SimConnect. You may be able to delete one by one anything that comes up.

Or try to reinstall anyway. If it doesn't work you aren't any worse off.

As you know uninstalling software seldom removes all of it.

Bob

i5, 16 GB ram, GTX 960, FS on SSD, Windows 10 64 bit, home built works anyway.

I used uninstall via Programs and Features. Simconnect is a separate program loaded and installed separately from MSFS. What is an API?

Also: I was given a link to Revo Uninstaller on another forum and recommended I use it. That doesn't work either.

If you are talking MSFS i think i read that they have been working on issues with Simconnect .

I don`t think windows update caused the problem everyone would have the problem.
