I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. A little after you are ready to fly at the requested end of the runway, the engines are shut down. Not a big deal if you just start the engines again and switch off the battery, and switch ON the APU.
