Float plane

Featured Replies

Any suggestions for a good and compatible float plane for P3d v5? I'm looking for something along the lines of a Harbour Air turbo beaver.

The Lionheart Quest Kodak is not study level, but quite nice. It can be modded with a GTN750. Works fine w/P3D v5.

Don’t know much about the Aerosoft Beaver or Twin Otter for P3D.

The Milviz Beaver, Otter and Turbine Otter are planned to be updated for P3DV5. They are excellent.

The Aerosoft Beaver doesn't work in v5  the Twin Otter extended does work. I've been waiting for the Milviz Beaver, Otter, PC6 and Turbo Otter

If you're prepared to go a bit larger, the Aerosoft Consolidated PBY Catalina is very good and includes engine damage modeling although technically it's a flying boat and not a floatplane, or if you want to go a bit unusual, the Aeroplane Heaven Douglas C-47 includes a floatplane version which is fun.
