Weather settings menu gone

Featured Replies

Hi, after restarting the sim today, I lost the weather menu. The weather menu option in the menu settings is greyed out. Strange thing is that Multiplayer is off, I fly alone with or without AI traffic. No matter if I activated live weather or custom weather pre-flight, in-flight there is no weather menu. What did I do? Or is it a bug?

I haven't been able to switch out of "Live Weather" since before the patch.  I think it worked fine on initial installation but stopped working (grayed out) soon afterwards.  It isn't a big deal for me, as I prefer flying with live weather but would have liked to load different scenarios just to test things out.

Strange. I can use custom weather if I set it up pre-flight. But once loaded I can't change weather nor time. Which is quite annoying. This seems to be connected to the patch, because it didn't happen before.

Oh, btw: the time slider is greyed out in the map view. That shouldn't happen when Multiplayer is disabled, right?

Do you have live players selected from flight settings?

No, I had not. I "solved" it by activating multiplayer and then activating and deactivating live players. Weather menu came back... Some sort of bug.

After that I had very bad fps for a while and one cpu core blocking everything, gpu not going over 50%. Deactivating AI traffic solved that. Another bug. 🙂
