September 18, 20205 yr Since i dont enjoy using it after the patch i am busy finding all kind of workarounds instead 😞  Does anyone knows if there are shaders files we need to delete just like in FSX/P3D ? It was quite critical in those. MSFS2020, 24, Fenix A320,  Ryzen 9 9950X3D, ASUS TUF RTX 5090 ,G.SKILL 64GB 6000MHz CL28

But perhaps the DirectX Shader Cache option in Disk Cleanup might help. In P3D we had an option to auto recompile shaders in Prepar3D.cfg [GRAPHICS] SHADER_CACHE_VERSION=1 and in the SDK. RELOAD_SHADERS Haven't bought MSFS yet. But perhaps MSFS has one of those commands. Edited September 18, 20205 yr by RamonB Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy. Â
September 18, 20205 yr Most modern games will rebuild shaders automatically when needed. Usually it's just a normal thing going on when loading, and I suspect it's one of the things happening in MFS when the blue progress bar moves from left to to right. P3D is one of the only games in the past 10 years or so where I've needed to delete shaders manually.

I look at it in a different way it gives you the option to delete your shaders without re-install if you think you have a problem, due to the fact that most use add third party shaders that are not deleted, just like when un-install a product but has not completely removed all files.
