September 25, 20205 yr Hi all. Doing the Yosemite bush trip activity. It tells me to follow the highway north out of Benton until it bends northeast and crosses into Nevada, where there's an abandoned airstrip at a ranch. The log shows a picture of the ranch, which looks just like it does on Bing's aerial view (https://www.bing.com/maps?osid=2d8e3c5e-50c4-435c-b2de-8196f13ee3ad&cp=37.926727~-118.407159&lvl=17&style=h&v=2&sV=2&form=S00027 ). But in the sim, there's just a discolored section of ground. No buildings, no airstrip, nothing. Surely QC would have at least noticed that the airstrip they're sending me to has been erased, which makes me wonder if maybe it's not downloading the data. Anyone else flown this trip and actually found an airstrip there? Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light
September 25, 20205 yr Author Update: figured it out. For some reason, bing data / photogram. was turned off. I know I didn't turn it off. The runway looks good again, but I'm wondering why that would have happened. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light
September 25, 20205 yr Do you use GeForce Experience? If so, make sure you don't have optimization turned on for fs2020. Edited September 25, 20205 yr by airlinejets
September 25, 20205 yr In that bush trip there are even some instructions which are the complete opposite to what they should be (tells you to go East when you should go West), so yes, QC was a little low for them. Still I like them a lot but personally I'm waiting to continue after they fix the bug introduced in Patch 2.

They'd have you go sliders left on everything just to gain one more FPS. Nvidia obviously doesn't realize that you can have a beautiful flight at 30fps locked nearly everything at Ultra and enjoy that much more than 60FPS with wicked FXAA anti aliasing and fuzzy runway textures.
