So i download the a3nx-master zip, and put only the A3NX in community? Disregarding the other files in the zip?

I been on their Discord and Twitter and neither have said there is any update.  Keep an eye on Discord for their latest updates or Twitter.

Each patch will require mods to update their files to accommodate the changes in the base sim files. This is a fact of life for anything dependent on core code, such as aircraft mods. This will happen every time there is a patch from Asobo, so plan accordingly. After a patch from Asobo, plan to clear out any mods from your Community folder and wait for updates from the modders. ~17,000 core files were changed this time.

The good news is, it isn't hard to see what's changed. We take a backup of the base files for each release, then we run a compare after a patch is released and see what's changed. We compare that to the list of files we use in our mod, then we incorporate the Asobo changes into our code. A320NX team does this also.

It takes a few hours of work, we work around any new bugs, then push an update. This is true for the A320NX, for our Working Title mods, and should be the same process every other modder works through (if their mod relies on ANY base sim files).

So...just plan on this and don't be surprised or upset by it. We all know when the patches are coming and that we'll have to do this. We plan for it, we do it, and then you get your mods back.

And do NOT put any mods back into your Community folder until they've been updated by the developer.

PSA: I have a folder in my Community folder called "Disabled" - I drag anything I don't want to load with the sim into that folder. Works great. Easy to add and remove mods from the sim this way.

Oh!  That is clever.  I need to start doing that.  I just keep deleting everything and starting over lol

This is the most idiotic post I read on this forum so far....

Then you can't be hanging around here for long, lol. Keep cool, there will be worse things coming along your way here.
