September 30, 20205 yr I know about adjusting the overall brightness in sim, But is there a way to adjust the sun's intensity with out affecting the overall global setting? For example, In game lighting brightness looks about right with the setting i have, but, The sun light shining on the vegetation is making the trees way to brite like a lite green glow. If i try to tone it down so the trees look more natural the over all brightness becomes to dark for the whole sim. Any suggestions? Thanks. Then you can modify the overal ground brightness incl Autogen separately from the image brightness. Also you can modify the clouds shadows darkness. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
September 30, 20205 yr Envshade does not work with truesky if enabled? please correctly me if I’m wrong. mike
September 30, 20205 yr If you are using EA you have to take it as it is for now, because it´s still beta and more an appetizer or sneak peak into the further development of P3D renderengine. ENVSHADE works with legacy mode only. BUt you can have quite a very good appearance with this combo. Paired with the much better performance of V5 it´s a quite good interimsolution waiting for what ever LM will present us with the next update.😉 @Gerard: correct me if i´am wrong 🙂 Edited September 30, 20205 yr by BerndB Bernd P3D V6 - PC spec: Intel i9-9900 overclocked 5 GHz HT off, 32 GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX3090 24GB, 2xM2 SSD, Skalarki HomeCockpit and Jeehell FMGS on a dedicated Server, PF3 for ATC, MCE, GSX, EFB, AS+ASCA+ENV and OrbX

The shaders within EA mode are "not enhancable" (for now at least). So therefore Envshade would only influence the shaders and visuals in the legacy mode (=EA-OFF) Edited October 1, 20205 yr by mpo910 Regards, Marcus P.
October 1, 20205 yr With Enhanced Atmosphere disabled you can use Envshade to make shader changes. With EA enabled TrueSky uses its own files and overrules the default shaders or any shader mods. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
