October 2, 20205 yr Hi Just starting to get to grips with the software. I have installed multiple (MS) Voice/Language packs, however when trying to select add Random Voice Settings (installed voice name dropdown) only a slect few are availble to add not all the ones I have installed (only seem to have female voices, plus David!) Any help advice/greatly appreciated. Cheers Edited October 2, 20205 yr by Rusty107 Russ Bailey
October 2, 20205 yr Commercial Member You don't add installed voices to the random voices. All usable installed voices are added automatically. Not all Windows voices are usable. In fact, most are not because they are Mobile voices. Only Desktop Windows voices are usable. All of these should show up automatically in the Random voices list, except the ones you might have assigned to the Copilot or other controllers permanently. Dave
October 3, 20205 yr I'm having the same issue, I get the notification of the new voice for the ATC 1/2/3/4 etc but it's only the same voice over and over again. I just assumed all the Microsoft English voices to each different option and it works without issue.
October 3, 20205 yr Commercial Member You don't add random voices for the base installed voices. P2A does that automatically. Remember Mobile voices won't work with P2A. To fix the issue of installed DESKTOP voices not being used as Random voices, try this: Close P2A Delete the ATCVoices.xml file in the Settings folder at c:\users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Settings\ATCVoices.xml Start P2A and do not enter anything in the Random Voices dropdown. It should populate with all the installed voices, except any that you assigned to the CoPilot or other dedicated controllers Dave
October 8, 20205 yr Suddenly the same issue at me. I have multiple voices in the registry (Voices>Tokens) for example MSTTS_V110 deDE Stefan or MSTTS-V110enCARichardM, total 20 voices. But now they are no more in the configuration>voices page of P2ATC.What may be the reason? Previously they works fine. Greetings Sonja
October 12, 20205 yr Okay, I have figure it out. I had all TTS voices enabel in the registry. But after win10 update they are all disable. So I enabel the TTS Voices again and it works fine. Sonja
