Since the update is automatic, individuals MAY need to make adjustments BEFORE they run MSFS. What is the official process for updating the sim? Do we need to clean out the community folder? If so, what about purchased content installed through the marketplace? Can we just cut all of the content from the community folder, and place it in a backup folder? Once the update is applied, we can paste the content back into the community folder keeping in mind that some of the content may not be compatible? Does Dev mode have to be disabled before the update? I have read in other posts that updating while Dev mode is active can cause issues What other things need to be done before the update and after the update? I know some of this is already mentioned, but it would be great if we could compile a few bullets for people to use a a checklist while updating.
