October 6, 20205 yr I had a look around with the search, but I couldn't find any relevant entries. Apologies if this is a known issue. Since the latest update I found that all of my steam gauges appear very bright & washed out in the hangar. See pic. Same in all aircraft with steam gauges. In-game seems fine. Also with the Cessna 152, the side cockpit windows appear very strange. See pic. Only seems to be really noticeable on the 152/152 aerobat. In game seems fine. Does anyone have any ideas? Did I break something or did Asobo break something? Thanks! 4790k / 16gb / 1080ti / lotsa ssd's / 1440p / TM Warthog & Tflight Pedals
October 6, 20205 yr Kinda looks like the gauges would look if they had weathered acrylic faces - on an aging AC. They do seem to reflect the light accurately - both the dark areas inside the hangar and the planes interior, and the reflections of brighter outdoor areas in some sections. That's just what they might look like if the covers were no longer perfectly clear. I'm assuming no panel lights are illuminated. The rear window is actually a pretty good rendition of a sheet of Plex that might be a bit aged and no longer perfectly curved. The small light flecks on the side windows, that also extend into the front and rear windscreens, ARE a bit odd. Can't think of anything inside a hanger that would cause reflections like that. Or maybe that particular environment just causes an odd render. At any rate, if they're fine in operation I wouldn't see this as an "issue." Intel [email protected] GHZ. 32 GB RTX 4070 Ti OC

How about "oddity". Just curious if I broke something or if everyone is experiencing it. There is definitely something going on with the glass over the gauges though. The pics may not translate it well, but I promise it looks weird (almost like a milky film and not reflecting the light correctly) and is most definitely not the same as prior to the latest patch. Almost feels like something to do with shaders in the hangar environment. In game, it looks just fine. Very strange. 1 hour ago, espent said: Could it be that you have changed your HDR settings? I don't use HDR. My monitor is not HDR capable. Thank you though. PS- I finally did find someone else posting about it. Hi guys Thanks for the replies. I use an Acer Predator 27 in gsync monitor (xb271hu) that is not HDR compatible. Those options are not available to me in windows. I think you may be mistaken, or I'm misunderstanding. Always a possibility, I am getting older! Thank you though. 4790k / 16gb / 1080ti / lotsa ssd's / 1440p / TM Warthog & Tflight Pedals
