Closing runways on afcad

Featured Replies

I want to close runways on default airport afcad but still have the addon afcad take higher priority (I tried doing this on the addon afcad but the airport still has planes taking off and landing on those runways-I assume it’s because it is reading the default afcad). What steps would I take? Thanks

As soon as you modify a default Afcad, you have to save it as new Afcad. But you mention an "Addon Afcad". Mostly those are bigger files and have therefore a higher priority. Why didn't you modified this one?

Afcad showed I had 3 files, the active one being from the addon airport. I tried modifying that one first, which had no effect, so then I modified the other two to see if that would make a difference (all 3 afcad files now reflecting the closures minus the one Runway I had open) which it didn’t. Atis shows all runways still active no matter what the afcad or afcad files reflect or what the wind is doing.

Why 3 files? There should be only two. The stock airport and the add-on airport.
