October 9, 20205 yr After the update on 8 October 20 it is clear that Asobo is not fixing the issues with aircraft like the CE 700 (Longitude) anytime soon. I have added a wishlist item asking them to unlock the .cfg files from the .fsarchive DRM. This is so the community can make modifications to these airplanes to fix the issues. If you agree please head over to MS Forums and upvote my wishlist item. Thank you. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/unlock-fsarchive-files-for-premium-and-deluxe-aircraft/297881 Edited October 9, 20205 yr by KenG Clarity
October 9, 20205 yr Your thread title makes it sound like Asobo have already unlocked the .fsarchive for the Premium and Deluxe content. You may want to revise it. October 9, 20205 yr I am not a software engineer, so I don't know it is feasible, but I would hope they could unlock the premium content as you say, so others could at least try to fix / upgrade it (like the A320 FBW / Robert Young's G36 Turbo / The Garmin 1000 project etc.), and then protect the premium content by doing a check or folder scan from the .exe file or some other way of scanning the folders. It could easily do a version check over the internet to see what content you should be allowed to use also. A bit intrusive maybe, but if you are not doing anything wrong, then there is nothing to worry about, and at least people could have a crack at making the Longitude and Dreamliner better. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. You may want to revise it. If they already unlocked it I would have used past tense. I'll add a comma, but the length of the title is almost at maximum.
