October 9, 20205 yr I landed on Runway 28R for the first time and was carrying a lot of speed after too steep a descent. Suddenly, as I crossed a taxiway on the runway, the plane flipped nose first and I got a crash screen. I went back to the start of the runway (fresh flight) and taxied at speed down the runway, this time in external view, and hit one invisible bump which launched me in the air before another flipped me half off the runway with a landing hard enough to produce another crash. Anyone else have the same issue? Remember, this is the default KORD in the basic sim, not the Premium Deluxe. Edit: I count five bumps along the runway's length. The final one in that direction is just at the threshold and either pitches me up into the air like a ski jump or acts as an invisible wall which damages my landing gear. In fact, all the 28/10 runways have this problem, as does at least one other (haven't tried every single option). October 9, 20205 yr There are so many of these bugs... i've been to too many airports with random word not allowed on the runways.
October 10, 20205 yr Want it fixed? Make sure you report it on their Zendesk bug page. Reminds me I saw a bug today on flight from KLAS to KSAN today I forgot to submit.
October 10, 20205 yr KTPA got me last week. Did a terrible landing because of the aileron flare bug, and then on roll out I hit a bump and summer-salted into my very own NTSB Field Office. Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune. There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
