Assign Magneto Start to a key

Featured Replies

Hi,

I would like to assign a keyboard key to the Magneto Start on my A2A C172.

I tried various possibilities but could not find the right one.

FSUIPC is designed to do this type of thing. I don't have the A2A C172 in my current script library but am working on one for A2A B35V.

With FSUIPC, you could do the assignment a couple of ways. Firstly, you could assign the keypress "M" to a joystick button. Or, secondly, you could set the variable used in the model coding for the magneto start function.

Here is my current FSUIPC library to give you some idea of what is possible.

Hi guys.

I am not trying to achieve to a full enfine start with a key (CTRL+E) but only a Magneto Start.

I am not trying to achieve things with FSUIPC/Hardware but simply assigning Magneto Start to a simple key through the P3D interface.

Thanks though.
