October 12, 20205 yr I have been trying to get an answer to a query for a number of weeks and I just get silence. Has anyone heard from Jean-Luc?

October 12, 20205 yr Author So I have to assume that it's me personally he is freezing out? I don't really understand that, as I have always been a supporter, and sell a lot of his product to students and on online seminars etc. I find it really weird.
October 12, 20205 yr I just looked at your profile, found the topic you are likely referring to, and see that he did respond and he did provide direction. I do not see anything following that indicates you followed up with his suggestion. I did now find some additional posts from you and see that you also received response from xplane. How many of the systems are affected by this issue? Is it just one? I had an issue several years ago with an aircraft model from a highly regarded developer. It was a strange lighting issue which when I flew away from the sun, at dusk into darkness, the panel would get progressively brighter with time until it was totally washed out. Then the horizon in front of me would start to brighten when it should have been growing darker. That would continue until the entire horizon was totally washed out in brightness. I was the only end user with the issue. One day as I was profiling it I accidently hit the button on my yoke assigned to the landing gear. It put gear down. I immediately raised the gear. All of the lighting issues evaporated. It turned out to be some glitch with landing lights used by the aircraft model from yet another developer. So when the brightness would begin I could slow, lower, then raise the gear. The process would start all over. Never happened during daylight, at night, or when flying toward the sun at dusk. Only when flying away at dusk. The aircraft developer and a number of other end users were not able to reproduce my issue. A year later I built a new system. Same version OS but hardware was different, as of course were drivers. Installed said aircraft. No issues. It was something particular to my previous system. Finding it was like searching for a four leaf clover or a needle in a haystack. Just saying.... October 12, 20205 yr @TimothyNathan Hi, please, please, there is no conspiracy theory whatsoever. The problem you've illustrated is clearly documented and laid out and we're passing this along to X-Plane not because I'd prefer not dealing with it, but because from the symptoms it looks like a OGL regression bug in their XP11.50 graphics stack. The issue isn't resolved yet only because XPlane devs are essentially not expecting their customers reporting any problem whenever there is a 3rd party plugin involved*. We've to relay this on your behalf, which I just did, and wait for an answer. * although in your case the issue isn't related to the plugin (until proven otherwise), instead, the plugin is exhibiting the issue
