New User Brain Storming...

Featured Replies

Hi:

I'm Mason Bolton.

I'm a new user to P2A and I really love it - but more for the information it offers all in one place - as opposed to the ATC.  I regard the ATC as a nice "freebie."

Why?

Because the environment is not immersive. It COULD be with only a few simple changes.  Suppose for example when a controller went off to find your flight plan, the controller offered...

"Please Stand By..."

...and after a short (random) delay, they came back to clear you.

OR...

With a simple change to the program that added a random delay before response to each voice (character) in the "Voices" tab, the tower would suddenly seem to be full of busy people who will get around to you in a minute.

The delay per character might be settable as a random range.  Just think how the towers all over the world (from the perspective of P2A) - will come to life!

These seem to me to be simple changes that would cost practically nothing.  I wish I could raise this to the attention of the company.  An upgrade to plug these gaps would take only one week.

Enough ranting.  Glad to be aboard - and I hope word soon reaches the developers to make these simple changes for a drastically more realistic effect and a thoroughly more enjoyable product.

Peace,

Welcome to Avsim, Mason.  I'm not much of a brain stormer, I'm more of a brain stemmer. 😆
