October 17, 20205 yr Elon Musk says SpaceX's 1st Starship trip to Mars could fly in 4 years https://www.space.com/spacex-starship-first-mars-trip-2024
October 17, 20205 yr Author Well Elon now tells us that he is on track to send the first uncrewed starship to Mars by 2024. He claims Space X has a fighting chance of making the second transfer window. The transfer window is a launch opportunity that arises every 24 months. This will be Space X's "Starship" vehicle of course, currently in development. If this is manifest, it will be the same year NASA returns to the Moon. Elon is noted for his overly ambitious time lines of course, so let's hope it comes to fruition. Edited October 17, 20205 yr by martin-w
October 22, 20205 yr Mate of mine works at a cargo airline that regularly picks up teslas at San Fran to import into Europe, they can fit 35 on board. As well Space X stuff to and from Vandenberg Air Force Base to French Gyuana, (to the Europe Space launch site) or to Airbus Space Industries In Toulouse. He's always late with the cargo apprently and really disorganised and hard work. Just saying..... Edited October 22, 20205 yr by fluffyflops
